Challenge
Build a custom solution for a simple and very specific need: collect user data from the students and generate a Curriculum Vitae (CV) in a nice, clear and easy to use format.
Design the architecture, choose the technology stack and build a team to deliver this project in a really short time.
We build a custom web application using Laravel framework with 3 main components.
Form to collect candidates CV
A complex form to collect candidates CV information with the possibility of later update.
Generate and download the CV
A system to generate and download the CV in a well designed PDF format.
We had a short timespan to deliver this project, so after the planning part where we designed the software architecture and interface and chose the technology stack, in order to deliver fast, we made a team with 2 full-stack developers.
Because of the way the two modules of the product were kind of independent of each other, we could work in parallel on both.
Working Agile, with Jira on our side for task management and in a strong communication with the client Project Manager, we successfully delivered in time the product.
